There are 2 types of staff: full time office based and those who work from home/on the road. There's definitely a positive team atmosphere, with people being open to new ideas from anyone in the business, regardless of their position. Good luck to anyone doing an apprenticeship with Qube, I seriously hope you gain your qualification :)įrom the regular staff surveys to the benefits, there's always been a commitment to making sure staff are happy within their roles and feel valued.Įveryone I've met within the business, including the CEO and senior management, are approachable and friendly. To any one else beginning an apprenticeship with Qube or anyone currently doing an apprenticeship with Qube I would only advice you to ask your tutor to go through all the paper work carefully and ensure you are on the right level and they can provide all the relevant work for you. So upsetting as I worked so hard for the qualification and was really looking forward to receiving it. Now I am currently walking away from this job with no qualification obtained what's so ever.
But it took Qube an entire year to realise I am on the wrong apprenticeship level? BS! I was absolutely devastated as I completed all the work up to date and whenever told to do so.
After the entire year when I was suppose to receive my qualification they turned around and said I cannot receive this level qualification and if I wanted to continue I would have to drop a level and start the entire year of the apprenticeship again!! It can be a fast paced environment, but this is true for any training provider, (and I have worked for several different providers), however I have actually found Qube to be the most relaxed of them all! Student visits are planned and the students are given enough time within the visits and supported throughout to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours within the workplace and staff are supported with training such as pedagogy, standardisations and team meetings to enable them to deliver high quality teaching and learning to the apprentices which supports their understanding of their - more. We were also given a 'free bank holiday' as a thank you for the hard work during the pandemic, and also extra days off at Christmas! Staff, students and employers are celebrated every month with nominations, but we also have the Qube awards which celebrates success and dedication/hard work that students have put into their apprenticeships and learning to achieve their goals and aspirations, and this is celebrated with an award ceremony and awards are given in different categories to employers, students and also Qube staff. They have adapted to the changes over the past 18 months due to the pandemic, and in doing so, have supported the students to achieve their apprenticeships, whilst supporting staff with flexible working where necessary as the CEO and exec team understood the pressures staff faced with school closures and family commitments, and were very supportive of these. Qube is a forward thinking company that has the students, employers and staff at the heart of what they do.
